Silver Lake Road Construction Updates

Please be advised that Silver Lake Beach will be closed for the season beginning August 11 to accommodate the Silver Lake Road reconstruction project. *****UPDATE 9-5-25: Monday, September 8, 2025 The contractor will be preparing for pedestrian curb installation. No significant impact to traffic, T-dock, or neighborhood access is anticipated. Tuesday, September 9, 2025 (afternoon) The concrete crew is scheduled to arrive and begin equipment setup for curb and gutter work on the south side of Silver Lake Road. One lane will remain open. Minimal disruption to traffic, T-dock, and neighborhood access is expected. Wednesday, September 10, 2025 Concrete pouring for the curb and gutter is scheduled. One lane will remain open; however, intermittent short delays may occur while trucks discharge into the curb machine. Motorists accessing the T-dock, neighborhood, or areas east of the Beach are advised to allow additional travel time. Thursday, September 11, 2025 The contractor will complete gravel base installation for the sidewalk. One lane may be used for equipment. No significant traffic, T-dock, or neighborhood access impacts are expected.
