Alley Construction Update

All four alleys have been reconstructed through the gravel stage and are open to traffic. Adjustment rings on the inlet in the alley between Railroad Street and Main Street are expected to be replaced Friday or early next week. Pulverizing of the parking lot may begin mid-next week, although a firm date has not yet been established. At this time, fine grading and paving are still anticipated for early October. STORM DAMAGE: The Eagle River Public Works Department will be picking up residents yard waste materials that are pulled curbside, branches not to exceed 4″ in diameter. Please place small debris (small sticks, pinecones etc.) in can or container WITHOUT a bag. Branches over 4″ in diameter are the homeowners responsibility and can be hauled to Highway G Landfill for paid disposal. To allow for weekend cleanup, the last day for pickup by Public Works is Monday August 3, have yard waste curbside by 6:00AM Monday morning.
