The City of Eagle River offers a yard waste disposal option for discarding of SMALL residential yard waste for residents of the City of Eagle River. Yard waste may be dumped in the marked dumpster outside the north end of the Department of Public Works shop at 1020 N. Bluebird Road, Eagle River

Commercial dumping or any other unauthorized use is strictly prohibited. We ask all users to respect the rules so that this valuable service can remain available to our residents.

Yard waste is defined as: brush, small branches, grass clippings and leaf litter from residential properties only. All debris must be loose.

    • No bags of any kind

    • No lumber

    • No trees, stumps, branches over 4″ in diameter, or debris from the clearing of properties

    • No appliances or other non-yard waste debris

    • No commercial and contractor waste

For the safety of residents, the facility is monitored by camera.

Yard Waste Disposal Available:  May 1st through November 1st, annually

Directions: From 45 North/Railroad Street, turn west at the light at Hospital Road (between Days Inn and Leif’s Cafe), turn north on Bluebird, and the shop will be on the west side of the street. The dumpster for yard waste is at the north end of the building, and is clearly marked with “Yard Waste Disposal”.  The shop is located directly behind the Circle K North location.
