Vilas County Included in Disaster Declaration Due to Designation by the Secretary of Agriculture

UPDATE Press Release: Gov. Evers Announces Support is Available for Many Northern Wisconsin Businesses Impacted By Lack of Winter Snow

Business owners,

Today we received an update from the VCEDC & SBA regarding the disaster declaration due to the unseasonably warm and dry winter:

We have found a way to assist small businesses that have been affected by the lack of snow in WI. The state has a Disaster Declaration for drought due to lack of snow.  Please see attached.

Below are the three declarations for Vilas County and the deadline for the corresponding EIDL application deadlines.  Please note that Vilas county is listed in 3 different designations with varying application deadlines.  Information was shared on a webinar 2/15/2024 by the Vilas County Economic Development.
